iOTA MCC Insulating Tundish/Ladle Covering Compound

A Rice Husk Ash based tundish/Ladle covering and insulating compound.

iOTA MCC is high melting silica based granular compound, which is used as a liquid metal covering for the top surface of the tundish to prevents the oxidation of the liquid steel. In addition, it works as insulating compound to prevent the heat transfer from liquid steel to the atmosphere, reduce the rate of radiation heat loss and keeps the constant temperature of the liquid steel.


Product Application 

iOTA MCC is a ladle Covering Compound comes in a free flowing powdered which is widely used in foundries and steel systems (plants) to eliminate the loss of heat liquid metal. iOTA MCC helps the metal industry (Steel Industry plants) to produce high-quality sheet steel foundry process (continuous casting). Steel Factories use RHA(Rice Husk Ash) based our product iOTA MMC powdered silica sprinkles on the surface of basins metals (tundish) and landle to prevent rapid cooling of the iron and steel can flow uniformly. iOT MCC RHA has good thermal insulation properties and a high melting point and used as a Ladle Covering Compound, Improves the property of steel, Highly insulating in nature, Prevents direct contact of liquid metal to the atmosphere.

iOTA MCC is generally supplied in 5 kg bags which are added manually in tundish/Ladles.
